Forest School session 6

This is the sixth and final session that I’m logging in. I really hope that this six sessions will be just a beginning of a long journey.
As I started this journey of six sessions I set up to do this 6 session using only the materials I have in the woods and a rope.
I was determined to succeed by doing six sessions without gimmicks or tricks . All natural all the time.
As I’m going into this sixth session I am quite pleased of the outcome.
Things not always worked exactly as I planned them but that’s OK and that’s part of life.
I welcome the change in the sessions because it comes from the kids.
For this last session I designed a fun and exciting new game but as soon as we got to the forest the kids said, ״can we play the sticky sticky game?״ And they were quite insisting on playing the same game that we did last time. Even though I worked very hard on the opening game I decided to act as they asked and we played this sticky sticky game again. It was ‏ brilliant. The game went to a whole new level and I added up new stages to it and everyone seemed to enjoy that very much.
Last session we learn how to tie a granny knot and a half hitch and almost all the kids worked by themselves.
This time I wanted to take the knots to a social experience and I’ve placed a large piece of rope between 2 tripod lashing and the goal of the free play time is to make arts in the wood combining each kids string of knots that they individually did. Of course some of the kids didn’t want to do this and it’s OK to do other stuff in the woods.
